    Abstract
    Abstract
The article discusses a study about the crystal structure of the organic compound C9H7NO3. The centroid-centroid distance between the benzenoid and the 2,4 dicarbonyl oxazine rings of π-stacked dimers formed by the crystal structure is measured. The study describes the dimers' formation of staircase-like linear chains through more π-stacking between the benzenoid rings. Findings also show that the methyl-H atoms are disordered due to rotation about the C-N bond.
