    Abstract
    Abstract
This project proposes that a low cost programmable logic controller (PLC) for advanced control applications such as model predictive control (MPC) problems. This PLC will use a successive overrelaxation (SOR)-like method to solve Model Predictive Control problems in a way that focuses more on speed rather than accuracy. The proposed project will be completed using the Do-More Designer software to produce ladder logic and create simulations.
