Testing forward modeling of X-ray observations

Abstract

Post-Starburst Galaxies are galaxies that recently ceased forming new stars. Forward modeling is a technique used when data is scarce by generating mock comparison data (Lanz et al., 2022). Nomenclature for noise from telescope and background sky sources also detected by instrument, varies by telescope. The goal of this study is to include background component in forward modeling (Lanz et al., 2022).
