Abstract
In order to make large sheets of paper, a mixture of pulp, water, and pigment needs to be sprayed onto screens in layers allowing time for the water to drain. To create the unique texture, meant to imitate the appearance of water, we placed pieces of cut paper between layers of pulp and then carefully lifted them up. This project relates to the microplastics found in waterways, more specifically focusing on the Delaware River.
