    Abstract
    Abstract
The United States is experiencing more extreme storms as an ongoing effect of climate change. Flooding from the storms can be catastrophic both financially and for loss of life. New software advancements now make it possible to make real-time flood predictions, but the software is yet to receive extensive testing. This project analyzed the HEC-RAS software and its ability to produce real-time flood forecasts.
