Abstract
This study utilized four years of hydrological and precipitation data, spanning from 2018 to 2021, collected from five monitoring sites across four different streams. These four streams were selected due to varying degrees of impervious land in their vicinity. Since more developed sites tend to exhibit higher flashiness, areas with greater development should yield a higher flashiness index compared to less developed sites. Data from the five sites were compiled into an Excel file for subsequent analysis. Graphs were generated using MATLAB and Excel to validate the equation.
