dc.description.abstractThe Immigrant Preschoolers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania Project is a video ethnographic study that investigates cultural beliefs and practices in early childhood classrooms that are often unidentified or ignored. Preschools are often one of the first places where immigrant children are formally introduced to the cultural customs of American society and therefore play a critical role in their adjustment and well-being.en_US
