dc.description.abstract | Our objective is to develop both a simulated and physical system that selectively cancels amplified environmental sounds in order to allow people to converse at normal volumes in a loud environment.
In addition, the technology could also be used to improve the experience of hearing aid users in environments with electronically produced ambient sound, where these sounds might interfere with the intelligibility of conversational speech. | en_US |
